• Sexual exploitation or trafficking
• Threats of harm to self or others
Mandatory Reporting & Safety Notice
Participation in STRAP programming constitutes acknowledgment and understanding that STRAP staff are mandated reporters under Texas law. Staff may be required to report certain disclosures or observations when necessary to ensure the safety and protection of youth. This requirement applies across all program settings, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid instruction, and is not optional or discretionary. STRAP adheres to applicable Texas statutes, including:
Reports are made solely for safety, legal compliance, and youth protection, not for punitive purposes.
